A History of Excellence

Founded in 1971, Charter Builders, Ltd. has twice been named the AIA Dallas’ Contractor of the Year and is a 2009 National Construction Safety Excellence Award winner in the 100,000-500,000 man-hours category from the Associated General  Contractors of America (AGC).

Charter’s management team has been in place since 1993 and the company is staffed with talented individuals committed to earning the customer’s trust and exceeding their expectations. We specialize in CM-at-Risk, Design-Build and General Contracting for public and private owners, with a primary emphasis on educational facilities.

With a dedicated staff of LEED Accredited professionals and Building Information Modeling (BIM) personnel, Charter continues to deliver service innovations to our clients. 

In over three decades Charter Builders has completed more than 500 projects ranging in size from $5 million in excess of $130 million.
