Holliday Alberti Prison Unit in Huntsville, Texas

This $27 million facility adjacent to Interstate 45, between Texas Department of Criminal Justice headquarters and the main Huntsville prison complex, is a fully equipped 360,000 SF 2,000 bed complex. 

The project is complete with accommodation, self-contained, administration, visitation, prisoner receiving and processing areas and has full medical and dental facilities.  A kitchen complex provides three meals each day for as many as 3,000 people and has a fully equipped laundry.

Security levels within the unit vary from medium security dormitory accommodations to single, high security cells.  The entire complex has a high security perimeter with guard posts and remote observation.  The project completed on time and within budget.
